Here you can explore our diverse and multilingual Udele teaching materials designed for English language teaching (ELT) and beyond! Tailored specifically for students in grades 5 to 9, our materials cover engaging topics aligned with the curriculum. Emphasizing culturally responsive pedagogies, our worksheets and resources take a holistic approach to language and multilingualism, incorporating a translanguaging lens. For all our materials, we would like to encourage you to use the languages of your classrooms, aiming to create an inclusive atmosphere. We also encourage you to use your students’ names in the materials and to adapt any examples to your local context so that they are more meaningful and engaging for your students.
Our aim is to actively contribute to the pursuit of social justice and transformation in education by fostering new perspectives and encouraging shifts in beliefs and practices related to multilingualism.
All our materials are openly accessible and available to anyone interested. They are flexible and can be easily adapted to suit different student groups. The document’s name indicates whether it serves as an instruction for teachers (T-Instruction), a worksheet for students, or a Powerpoint presentation (PPP).
In our worksheets we use colors to differentiate between the kinds of exercises.
